Captain:
Estelle Blet, French, 29
Estelle has
skippered many large yachts ranging in length from 32 to 80 feet (10 to 25
meters), sailing in the main cruising areas of the Mediterranean, French
Polynesia, Hawaii and the Seychelles. She has competed in many
transatlantic races including Quebec to St. Malo, France and from New York
to Cogolin on the south coast of France.
Captain Blet holds both a French Professional Skipper’s License, BPPV, and a
British Yachtmaster Offshore License. In addition, she trained in
meteorology and worked on merchant marine ships. For the last 6 years she
has worked as a skipper and brings a wealth of experience on board WILD
TIGRIS.
Estelle
enjoys all water sports and is a qualified sailing instructor, Brevet d’Etat
d’Educateur Sportif Voile. She looks forward to encouraging you to learn or
improve your sailing skills, or simply relax – comme vous voulez (as you
wish).
Chef:
Benoit Robin, French, 27
Benoit Robin, French, 26
years , fluent in French, English and Italian, holds a professional
qualification as a chef (BEP) from La Rochelle, France. He has learned his
skills in top class restaurants in France, Le Claridge in La Rochelle; hotel
restaurant Le Meramar and Le Boticelli in Monaco. He has worked on board
private yachts catering for up to 25 persons. Benoit is a very accomplished
chef and has particular knowledge of French, Italian and Moroccan cuisine.
He looks forward to welcoming you on board Wild Tigris and creating gourmet
dishes to cater to your every wish.
STEWARD
/ MATE: Philippe Travadel,
36 years,
fluent in English and French , is a very experienced mechanic and has worked
in shipyards in St. Martin. He has an engineering diploma in masonry and
concrete steel structures. He is a very experienced sailor and has worked
as an instructor in Guadeloupe, and sailed in the French championships for
catamarans in St. Raphael. Philippe has worked on many charters in the
Caribbean as a waiter and deckhand. He brings on board Wild Tigris a
wealth of experience and looks forward to welcoming our guests .
