VILEEHI was the first yacht to carry the SDYC burgee around the world. In January of 1942 VILEEHI became a Navy Ship but was returned to Mr. Horton after the war and became a yacht again. In 1946 she was sold to movie actor, Dana Andrews who kept her until 1951. After several successive owners VILEEHI was sold to its present owner in 1985 who was responsible for a major refit including the restoration of the original gaff rig.
