  Safari

Safari is the future of performance luxury cruising. If you have dreamed of sailing the steady trades or playing with zephyrs, while enjoying the full amenities of custom living, Safari is the fulfillment of that dream.

Morrelli and Melvin, the designers of Playstation, designed her sweet unique lines. Her high strength composite hull, carbon spars, Aramid rigging and North computer designed sails, allow Safari to stretch her legs in any conditions. She is so quick that in 20 knots of true wind, she can sail 22 knots of boat speed.

What makes her unique is the combination of outstanding sailing ability and luxurious accommodations. With her 62 feet of length and nearly 30 feet of beam, Safari is the size of a doubles tennis court. Yet she is as agile as a laser. Safari rides high, points high, self tacks in the narrowest of channels, and can anchor in as little as twenty inches of water. She turns heads in every harbor.

With only 6 knots of wind, she is capable of sailing the wind speed. Gone are the afternoons of listening to the engines as you motor to weather or in light air. In 15-20 knots of wind, she is over the horizon. High double digit sailing speeds are the norm, not the exception. Fast on a reach, she heels no more than 5 degrees. You and Safari feel alive, finally enjoying the potential of performance sailing.

Her unique layout affords unprecedented visibility and protection from the elements. Her forward cockpit layout is ideal for keeping the action of sailing separate from the inaction of a good book. As if in two different worlds, you can chose to either trim sails and steer, or relax and nap.

The shade afforded by her large main salon and extended roof line keep you refreshed to enjoy an afternoon swim and a custom tropical drink. Foul weather gear is obsolete.

Her interior sports African Sapele soles with maple cabinetry. Chrome rails and fixtures highlight the surfaces with glints from the sun. Luxurious Ultrasuede and Ultraleather cushions, all in colors that soothe the senses. And the private double berths are all sumptuous queens.

With her massive solar power capability, the sound of a generator is refreshingly absent. All you hear is the breeze. Her power needs are silently fulfilled so that you get the rest and peace that you expect. With such amenities as instant-on hot water and a full length bath, relaxation is complete.

Her sailing qualities are surpassed only by the level of skill and service of her crew. Her captain and chef are dedicated professionals, with extensive sailing and service experience on some of the finest yachts in the world. They welcome you with genuine warmth and attention.

Imagine a night under a blanket of tropical stars, as you relax in the afterglow of one of the finest sailing experiences of your life. A five star meal of unique and original cuisine is served. Later, your private cabin in the aqua blue awaits.

Fast passages let you explore more than you ever thought possible. Distant islands are a day sail. Her speed allows you to leave later and arrive earlier. Her luxury affords you the space for personal serenity. Discover the full potential of luxury sailing on Safari.
