Paul and Sherrie Cook
Captain Paul Cook has been working in the marine industry since the age of
thirteen. Paul, now thirty has put thousands of miles under his belt in both sail and
power yachts. Paul's love of the ocean goes back to his family's boat building history in
Thomaston, Maine. Paul holds a US Coast Guard 100 ton vessel license and is a certified
open water diver.
Sherrie Cook grew up in a small town in Vermont. Sherrie spent her after school time
working at a local Inn that her mother managed and riding horses. Sherrie's interest in
sailing was recreational until she was asked to be crew on a 120'schooner. She spent two
years cooking and rigging before she met Paul. A self taught chef who considers her
cooking New Exhilarating American Cuisine with a focus on seasonal selections. She looks
forward to pampering you with her food and warm hospitality.
Paul and Sherrie have been working together as a team for ten years. Not always on the
water year round, they spent eight summers in Vermont estate caretaking an 86 acre island
on Lake Champlain. Their experience on the sea goes as far as Glacier
Bay, Alaska and Trinidad. After working in the motoryacht industry for a couple years they
are thrilled to get back to their love of sailing. Paul and Sherrie are excited to share
their experience in both New England and the Caribbean. The Cook's are dedicated to making
your sailing vacation a relaxing and enjoyable affair.
