Galileo was designed and constructed to sail any ocean-quickly, comfortably, and safely.
Accommodations include an owner's stateroom, two large guest staterooms,and quarters for five crew including a
crew lounge.
Family and guests congregate in the luxurious main salon or in the spacious
cockpit.
A large study with worldwide communications, computers, and ancillary equipment provide an onboard owner's business office.
GALILEO's teak interior was designed by John Munford featuring fielded panels with classical columns and graceful moldings, finely crafted furniture and gold plated fixtures. This classical interior brings back the memories of the earlier days of yachting.
On deck, GALILEO's sails are completely controlled by hydraulic winches and furling devices. of the 22 winches by Lewmar, 12 are hydraulic, including 2 Lewmar 1200 ST primaries with "backwind" capability.
Painstaking attention has been paid to the selection and installation of GALILEO's machinery due to the fact that she was designed to cruise extensively in the Pacific and would be away from yard facilities for long periods of time.

As stated in words of Mike Kelsey, President of Palmer Johnson, "I have often said that we are building Stradivari in the age of the mass-produced plastic guitar. Nowhere is this better illustrated than in GALILEO".
